Philip Cooper has a track record of managing the growth and profitability of regional subsidiaries of major organisations in different parts of the world. He has substantial board-level experience and has been a Director of several leading UK and US companies.
A graduate of Cardiff Business School and the University of Wales (MBA & DBA), his areas of expertise include strategic business planning, marketing research, development & strategy and the internationalisation of SMEs. He has held senior executive positions with multinational companies in the UK &; USA, and has extensive management and strategic marketing consultancy experience in a wide variety of industries in different countries through assignments with World Bank, EU, DTi and WDA.
He has been involved with a number of high growth start-ups and early stage firms and fully understands the criteria for success needed to turn an idea into a successful profitable venture and ultimately a major market force.
He is a committed internationalist, fluent in four European languages.
